Acteon, one of the leading names in small equipment, consumables and pharmaceuticals for dentists, dental imaging, and surgical endoscopy, is today an international group established the world over.

More than 660 employees (almost 300 outside France) occupy Acteon's five manufacturing sites in Bordeaux, Marseilles, Milan, Bilbao and Tuttlingen (Germany), as well as the six subsidiaries and eight representative offices established in the major international dental markets.

The group is organized around three divisions:

• ACTEON EQUIPMENT - Bordeaux (Mérignac)

Satelec, the equipment division of the Acteon Group, is the world leader in piezoelectric generators and offers a complete range of electronic equipment for dentistry including osteotomes, polishers, high frequency scalpels, curing lights, and autoclaves.

• ACTEON PHARMA - Bordeaux (Mérignac)

Pierre Rolland, pharmaceutical division of the Acteon Group and manufacturer of Expasyl and Riskontrol, offers a full selection of dental consumables and pharmaceuticals, such as anesthetics, and endo treatment, hygiene and impression products.

• ACTEON IMAGING - Marseille (La Ciotat)

Sopro is the Acteon Group's imaging division. It is already recognized worldwide as the leader in intra-oral cameras and also develops innovative digital radiology systems.

The medical division of Sopro designs, manufactures and sells a comprehensive range of surgical endoscopy equipment.

De Gotzen in Milan (Italy) manufactures intra-oral X-ray generators.

ISO 13485 certified, Acteon has built its success through innovation and an international coverage which is constantly improving.
